About the =ATU= Clan

=ATU= or Allied Tactical Unit was formed in 2006. Supporting Battlefield 2 and later moving on to play Battlefield 2142. =ATU= flourished during Battlefield 2142 with a top ranked 24/7 Suez Canal Server. As Battlefield 2142 lost popularity =ATU= deiced to take a hiatus. While =ATU= lay dormant it's core members remained together playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 under a different clan name. At one point having a top ranked 24/7 Atacama Desert Server. With Battlefield Bad Company 2 dieing off. It was time.

With the Announcement of Battlefield 3. The true predecessor in the Battlefield Series due to release on October 25th. The Allied Tactical Unit is returning to reclaim it's glory on the Battlefield.

=ATU= is place for all gamers over the age of 18 to join. Regardless of race, creed, gender, religion or skill. =ATU= is dedicated to having fun first and foremost. We have a diverse group of people from different walks in life but at =ATU= we all share one common passion and goal. To enjoy and have fun playing FPS style games in a mature manor of environment.

=ATU= is always recruiting new members over the age of 18. While =ATU= is not going to be the place for every gamer all are welcome to join and participate by joining our gamers servers, Ventrilo or use of our website. The Allied Tactical Unit is a nonprofit gaming organization. All service's provided by =ATU= are paid for through the donations of it Members. =ATU= welcomes any person that would like to donate. All proceeds go toward the payment of game servers, voice servers, and web hosting. Any additional funds left over at the end of a month go towards the next months bills.
